Yumi Shimizu lives in Japan with her husband and their daughter. She loves to study culture, art and nature in North Europe, and to walk in botanic gardens and needle-leaved forests.
“My spiritual image was a beautiful garden, which enchased inspiration, time and love. When I visit a beautiful garden, I can feel a peace, it sharpens my senses and feel like living in a different world “Heaven”.
To me ”Heaven’s Garden” means harmony of human and nature.”
Yumi Shimizu is one of the winners of People's Bead 2012 and designed Heavens Garden for the Spiritual Collection.
